Shot 07/05/2011.## The home of a retired 9/11 firefighter was destroyed Tuesday morning by fire in New Hanover County, North Carolina.  Jim Kadnar kept a beam from the World Trade Center in his garage. The beam, and the blanket covering it, survived the flames that took down the rest of his home.
