Clay Used in the Bottom of My 220 Gallon Planted Tank
I believe that you can make or break a killer planted aquarium with the right substrate. I use dirt in ALL of my planted tanks. Clay is a key ingredient to lush plant growth. Shown here is the red potters clay I smashed up to mix in with my dirt. The results are great. I highly recommend experimenting with some clay in your substrate if you are going to keep plants. Any questions please ask. Thanks for viewing
