Study finds healthier crust
Pizza with wheat crusts can be healthy if prepared correctly. In a new study, food chemists at the University of Maryland found that the benefits of antioxidants in wheat pizza dough increased when baked at higher-than-normal temperatures, between 400 to 550 degrees Fahrenheit, and for longer times, between seven to 14 minutes.
