Cuba! Art and History from 1868 to the Present Day, in the Groninger Museum
The Groninger Museum presented a large-scale overview of the developments in art and history in Cuba from 1868 to the present day. The exhibition gave a survey of the multicultural society of Cuba, and had been organized by the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts. Cuba is known world-wide for its music and literature, and simply for being an exceptional country. The many paintings, photos, videos, graphic designs and installations in the exhibition provided a picture of Cuba in a political and historical context. On show until 20 september 2009.
