General Motors Down 1.7% After Announcing CFO Departure
Shares of General Motors are down after Chief Financial Officer Chris Liddell today announced that he will leave the company on April 1st. Liddell was passed over for the top job at the automaker last month, according to Reuters. Liddell joined GM last year from Microsoft and guided the automaker--which the US government bailed out during the financial crisis--through its $23 billion IPO last November. GM shares are down 1.71%, or $0.55, to $31.70.
