At its annual TechFest 2007, Microsoft assembled its worldwide researchers at the company’s headquarters in Redmond, Wash. to demonstrate their latest innovations. Among the ideas shared were a PC-based telescope of the universe, a game designed to teach programming skills to young children, a digital "shoebox" for photographs, an interactive photo frame, a bubble board to organize family voice mail, and imaged-based search.
