運輸業工會代表向邱騰華請願 要求擱置立法停車熄匙
大約30名汽車交通運輸業總工會代表，遊行到灣仔的環境保護署門外，抗議政府強行立法停車熄匙。 代表說，近期的酷熱天氣下，發生多宗懷疑司機中暑的傷亡事件，顯示停車熄匙令本港的交通安全質素惡化，但相關政策官員包括環境局局長邱騰華，一直擺出強硬態度，堅持立法，令業界感到憤怒，要求擱置停車熄匙立法。 工會亦不滿運輸署推搪工會的要求，拒絕在停車熄匙立法的問題上提供協助，要求運輸署敦促環境局擱置立法工作。
