Queen Mary 2: Caribbean Timelapse
Please settle back and enjoy this collection of time-lapse sequences taken during December 2010 from the upper decks of the Queen Mary 2 as she sailed through the Caribbean. On this occasion we’re visiting St.Kitts and Tortola. I have tried out a square format for the images - please let me know what you think about it. Camera: Nikon D700 + Nikkor 28-300mm 1:3.5-5.6 G ED Tripod: Manfrotto 745B and 701RC2 video head Settings: Manual, ISO 200, variable shutter speed. The images were shot at 1 second intervals. Post Processing: Image set adjusted in Adobe Lightroom 3.2 (contrast only, no colouration) Image set imported into an Adobe Premiere Pro CS5 2K 24p project Exported as 2048x1024 24p MP4 Tested GBdeflicker (found necessary for the image sets with shorter exposure times) and it worked perfectly! Highly recommended: Soundtrack: I'm Beginning To See The Light (Kitty Kallen with Harry James and his orchestra, 1945)
