Ethan Lasser, Chipstone Foundation curator, walks through and explains the concept behind the re-installation of the American Furniture gallery at the Milwaukee Art Museum. The furniture, which ranges in date from 1660 to 1850, is displayed on pedestals, allowing the visitor to experience the object in the round with minimal labeling.
