天氣潮濕,長者容易滑倒,後果可以很嚴重,長者應注意家居安全,於家中加設扶手及防滑墊。方形踏步運動有助長者防跌,有長者參與方形踏步後,平衡力有所提升,下肢的肌力亦有所增強,而透過方形踏步運動,更認識很多新朋友,使他們更有自信,令心境更豁然開朗。 天氣潮濕,長者需要留意地面是否有潮滑的情況,特別是浴室及廚房,不少心滑倒的話後果可以很嚴重。長者應注意家居安全,於適當的地方加設扶手,以及於浴室、廚房加上一張防滑墊,另外,還要留意平日所穿的鞋子有否因穿著太久,而導致磨蝕,家居地面出現水漬時,亦應及早處理。 上一集介紹方形踏步運動有助長者防跌,方形踏步運動參加者司徒詠雪及方形踏步防跌大使盧仲強表示經姑娘介紹後參加此運動,參加後覺得此運動很有趣、很簡單,十分容易掌握,於初學時最困難是腳與大腦的協調,於運動時需要集中精神,最重要的是參與及多些練習。而參與方形踏步運動前後,姑娘會替長者進行平衡力測試,大部分參與方形踏步後的長者,平衡力都會有所提升,下肢的肌力亦有所增強,而透過方形踏步運動,更認識很多新朋友,使他們更有自信,令心境更豁然開朗。
