The Hotel Harrington at 11th and E Streets, NW, in downtown DC, is definitely the best buy in town. Its rooms are funky and sometimes even funny-looking but they are clean and the clientele is very nice. You really can NOT beat the convenient location, within walking distance of the White House, Smithsonian Museums, the Ford’s Theater, and many other worthy attractions. It's one block from the subway, and across the street are ESPN Zone and the fabulous E Street Cinema.
