10多名東突份子涉策劃08年新疆襲擊被捕
公安部拘捕10多名恐怖組織的頭目和成員，相信該組識是策劃08年奧運期間，在新疆喀什襲擊公安和庫車發生的爆炸案，並檢獲一批自製爆炸裝置等工具。 兩名被捕的組織頭目分別是42歲及33歲。二人承認是恐怖組織「東伊運」和「東突」的成員，在內地多個省份，培訓成員，為恐怖組織籌集資金和購買炸彈原料。 公安部表示，部份組織的成員，已從廣東和雲南等地偷渡出境。
