港鐵公布廣深港高鐵位於西九的香港段總站設計，工程預計2015年完工。 日後由總站步行到柯士甸站要2至3分鐘，步行至九龍站就要大約8至10分鐘。 總站的月台、售票處同出入境大堂全部設於地底，預留地面作綠化空間。
