An eye-opening experience of the fiercest 2006 war
Ali Abbas, member du Hezbollah, "Through these young people, we want to send a message to the world and to the enemy above all to show that the Lebanese people and the Lebanese youth support the resistance and they standing shoulder to shoulder with them on the front line." The border is the next stop on Hezbollah’s promotional tour and the village of Maroun el-Ras, where some of the fiercest fighting took place during the 2006 war. There's time for photos and even a symbolic gesture of destroying the word 'Zionism', written in Hebrew, within view of Israeli troops. For the students, it's an eye-opening experience.
