An urban/rural political divide in Oregon?
The Republican wave that swept across the midterm elections seems to have missed Oregon, where all four Congressional Democrats, Senator Ron Wyden, and Gov. John Kitzhaber all won their respective races. Some point to Multnomah County as the culprit yet again in tipping the balance of statewide races in favor of Democrats. Results show a big partisan divide between votes cast in urban and rural Oregon - or do they?
