"I Am The Mountain Thief" — An inspiring story of the 'power' of the medium of film and its ability to call for action. 'I Am The Mountain Thief' follows a group of scavengers who lives in Payatas, one of the largest landfill town in existence and possibly the poorest place in the world. The scavengers participated in an acting workshop and acted the parts in the narrative film, THE MOUNTAIN THIEF. After a successful film festival run, the film has become an agent of philanthropy and a plea for change. The film follows the actors in how they live with hope and how their lives are changing, one child at a time. One living dream at a time.
