李柱銘認為特首才是香港與中央溝通的正式橋樑
民主黨創黨主席李柱銘認為，任何政黨都需要堅持及尊重行政長官，才是香港與中央溝通的正式橋樑，否則會損害一國兩制，港人治港的原則。 李柱銘出席本台節目後，提到有關民主黨與中央直接溝通政改方案的問題，他說民主黨主席何俊仁解釋，由於特首不獲授權處理2012年以後的政改問題，而中聯辦在港則有很大話事權，所以民主黨需直接與中央討論。但李柱銘認為，政黨即使不喜歡當特首的人，亦必須尊重這個職位。 另外，他說自己不想退出民主黨，會先視乎該黨下星期日舉行的路向營，對未來民主工作方向有何決定，及研究自己在黨內抑或黨外，能更好推動民主，才作決定。
