Don and Phil Everly, known as The Everly Brothers, are two country influenced rock & roll musicians best known for their steel guitar playing and harmony singing. Their career started in the late 50s and one of their most famous songs is "All I Want To Do Is Dream". The first version of the song was recorded in only two takes and it reached all Billboards single charts simultaneously that year. The break-up of The Everly Brothers is one of the most memorable in rock history: On July 14, 1973 Phil Everly smashed his guitar during a concert in California. Don Everly finished the concert alone and told the crowd finally that the band already "died ten years ago". Until their reunion in 1983 the two brothers didn't speak a word to each other - for 10 long years.
