mud season black and white conversion version: film vignette. i wanted to practise video cropping with final cut pro so i needed some new material to work with- not a very inspiring time of year around here with all the melt going on so i headed to the streams which i knew would be interesting. tried some lens-whacking while i was at it where you take a prime lens and hold it in front of the body disconnected-like (introducing lots of flare and focus shift) the camera was locked off and i was able to pan a scene in limited capacity just by moving the lens (scene with the mossy tree). shot with 5dmkii and 17-40L f/4.0, 50f/1.8II, 100L f/2.8 macro is.
