Electric Race Car: Introduction
Initiated and run by students from Imperial College London, Racing Green Endurance is a project that aims to prove that electric cars are the future. The team started with a gas-powered Radical SR8 and converted it to an electric vehicle. The SR8 is the fastest production car in the world, and when modified should help to prove that not all electric cars are sluggish. Once the car is completed, it will race up the entire length of the Pan-American Highway, through some of the most extreme conditions in the world.
