I’m Just a Nobody: By The Williams Brothers
Originally known as The Little Williams Brothers, this group was organized in 1960 by Leon "Pop" Williams, the founder and father of the Williams Brothers. They recorded its first album in 1973. Since then they have recorded 18 top-10 albums in Billboard and Cashbox magazines, out of which came three No. 1 records and three Grammy nominations. In April 1991 the Williams Brothers formed their own record label, Blackberry Records, which is the first black-owned and operated record label in Mississippi that has major distribution. Their first release on the label entitled "This is Your Night" reached No. 4 on Billboard Magazine’s gospel chart. They were also nominated for a Grammy Award for the same album in the category of Best Soul Gospel Album (Traditional) in 1991 and won the Stellar Award for Best Performance Group or Duo (Traditional) in 1991. In January 1995 their release entitled "In This Place," which reached No. 1 on the Billboard charts, was also nominated for a Grammy Award in the Best Soul Gospel Album (Traditional) category in 1995.
