Bernanke Concerned About Economy
U.S. Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke said the housing slump and rising energy costs have increased the risks of slower economic growth. At the same time, Bernanke also expressed concern about inflation and the turmoil in financial markets as he provided his semi-annual update to lawmakers.
