Bullish on India’s banking sector: HDFC
Talking about India’s banking sector, Aditya Puri, MD of HDFC Bank, said if the GDP grows at 8 per cent then the banking system will grow at a healthy over 20 per cent rate. He feels the growth for the banking sector would come from rural and the social banking (microfinance) sectors.
