北京五輪が開幕、２０４の国と地域が参加
史上最多となる２０４の国と地域が参加する北京五輪が日本時間８日午後９時、開幕した。中国での開催は、夏季五輪としては、日本と韓国に次いでアジアで３か国目となる。一方、会場周辺ではテロ予告があったことから、厳重な警備が敷かれている。
