This documentary introduces the 2010 Nobel Peace Prize Laureate Liu Xiaobo. For the past 25 years, Xiaobo has been writing about Chinese society and struggling to turn China into a democracy. In this film, Xiaobo’s life and work are explored and interviews with close colleagues and friends are featured. The documentary offers a unique insight into the man the Norwegian Nobel Committee call "a symbol for all human rights activists in China".
