Omeprazole lowers Bleeding Risk in PUD
April 18, 2007 (Insidermedicine)- Treating patients with bleeding peptic ulcers with a drug to reduce stomach acid before an endoscopy can reduce bleeding and the need for further therapy, say researchers in a report published in the New England Journal of Medicine.
