「其實我們作為粵劇名伶挺慘的，一年三百幾十天不是天天都有得做，當你沒得做的時候怎麼過呢？有一段時期也很軟弱，我覺得既然已經在這個行業生存，為甚麼不拿出毅力繼續堅持下去呢！香港現在的經濟環境又遇到傳染病，相信大家都覺得很困難，就以粵劇行業來說，遇到很多困難，我們都不斷努力，堅定自己的宗旨，一定不會錯。我們雖然做了幾十年，還是希望這個行業繼續延續下去，所以我們教小朋友，薪火相傳，無論從事任何行業，一定要堅持自己的信念，繼續努力，失敗繼續努力，一定會成功的，我們的宗旨是『努力向前，向標竿直跑』。」
