Lawyer: LAPD Confiscated 1800s Antique Rifle from Charlie Sheen’s Home
Charlie Sheen’s divorce and custody lawyer Mark Gross spoke outside of the actor's Mulholland Estates home late Thursday night."The LAPD executed a search warrant, which they had issued pursuant to the fact that there's a temporary restraining order which was issued on March 1, 2011, which among other things precludes Charlie from having guns in his possession," Gross said. "Somebody made some statement apparently to the LAPD, a reckless statement, about something with Charlie and guns. They properly did their job. They did an investigation and, as a result of that investigation, a warrant was issued."He praised the authorities for "officially, appropriately, professionally, courteously, and thoroughly" executing the warrant. "The only thing that they took with them…was a few bullets and a 1800s antique gun," he announced. "They've taken them in their possession and Charlie will get them back in his possession at the appropriate time. But other than that, they didn't seize anything. Someone had asked if they found any drugs. The answer is absolutely not." (ETonline.com)
