IRAN: Police fire tear gas to disperse protesters
Police in Tehran used tear gas to disperse anti-government rallies Tuesday calling for the release of opposition leaders Mirhossein Mousavi and Mehdi Karoubi, who supporters say are in a Tehran jail. Iranian authorities deny the men are being held.
