The White City Dog Track was demolished some years ago to make way for the soon to be defunct BBC. Dog racing, much loved by working class men, is one of the most thrilling sports on the planet- and none of the participants take testosterone-like anabolic steroids. Nor, for that matter, do they accept large sums of money from dubious commercial interests. These fellows are in it for the sheer joy of chasing a fluffy toy bunny.  This was one of the first moving pictures I ever made. It brings back so many exhilarating memories.
