Top Democrat says "War is Lost"
The top Democrat in the Senate said the Iraq war is lost, with no deal in sight on funding. Harry Reid, a Nevada Democrat and leader of the Senate majority, said he had taken a message to Bush in their White House meeting that "this war is lost" and Bush's troop buildup plan "is not accomplishing anything."
