Armutshauptstadt Leipzig
Bericht vom 09.09.2010: Die weltberühmte Messestadt Leipzig sollte eigentlich ein Aushängeschild unter den ostdeutschen Großstädten sein. Doch die nach der Wende großzügig restaurierten Innenstadtbereiche, wie die Mädlerpassage, zeigen nur eine Seite der Stadt. Denn Luxus ist für viele Leipziger ein Fremdwort und die Armut ist vielen anderen Stadtteilen anzusehen. In ihnen herrscht Verfall statt Aufbau.
