Footing of Thy Feete
"The Footing of Thy Feete" is a quotation from the Elizabethan poet Edmund Spenser. British poetry more than four centuries old might seem a long, long way from skateboarding the streets of Chicago, but these five devotees demonstrate that however many slams and scrapes may be part of the sport , there is nonetheless a consummate grace and aesthetic beauty in its finest moments. This film shares that grace; it’s well made and very interesting in its vision of the sport as a free people's pursuit.
