The Basics of One Point Perspective
In this episode, we examine one point perspective. We learn how to use a vanishing point and guide lines to create a realistic sense of space in a drawing, painting or any other two dimensional work of art. This video includes an explanation and demonstration of drawing a road and sidewalk going off in the distance as well as drawing a basic rectangular building. Future episodes will help expand this knowledge demonstrating drawing irregular polygons, organic forms, multiple vanishing points etc.
