? panGenerator @ Teatr Laznia Nowa
Interactive theatrical environment based on Slawomir Mrozek’s short story "The One Who Falls Down" co-created with Teatr Laznia Nowa team ( Malgorzata Szydlowska, Dawid Kozlowski, Bartlomiej Krcha ) during Mrozek Festival. Environment consists of two parts: ? "Walking with Mrozek" - an corridor with interactive projection of animated characters based on original Mrozek's drawings. Each character displayed on the wall follows one person passing trough the corridor thanks to the computer vision algorithms and a webcam (ps3eye) situated above the passage. We've used openframeworks and openCV for blob tracking and animation display. ? "Talking furniture" - disassembled pir sensors, stereo speakers and mp3 players hacked together and hidden in several pieces of furniture. Audio is turned on when somebody falls in range of pir sensor and turned off in case of absence of living matter ;) Most of the work on the panGenerator side was done by Piotr Barszczewski and Krzysztof Golinski with a bit of on-site support by Jakub Kozniewski. Special thaks to Wojtek Morawski / Wo for music used in this video and Maciek Dobrowolski for intro sfx. Further kudos go to Barbara Dzieran and Katarzyna Grzeszczak.
