The UW Business School selected a panel of legal experts to present thoughtful solutions to the legal issues created when businesses launch web-based operations or retail outlets. The Internet poses unique legal problems, many of which have yet to be sorted out. Preservation of intellectual property, security and consumer privacy, and discovery of e-mail and other electronic records in litigation are all issues that the average organization must face in today’s challenging business arena.
