プロ野球のパ・リーグが２４日、開幕した。不正スカウト問題で揺れる西武ライオンズ・太田秀和球団社長は「ファンの皆様に大変ご迷惑とご心配をおかけしました。西武は、ファンに愛される球団に生まれ変わります」とグラウンドからファンへ直接謝罪した。
