Steve Franks is heading from Pinellas Park to Washington, D.C. with 150 mannequins, in the hopes of bringing attention to ALS, also known as Lou Gehrig’s Disease.  The mannequins have no arms or legs, symbolizing the loss of the use of arms and legs that afflicts each patient. Each mannequin wears a shirt bearing the name of an ALS patient.
