The number of U.S. companies to raise their dividends in 2010 swamped those that cut, and Standard & Poor’s believes it'll be the same story this year. Howard Silverblatt, Senior Index Analyst, Standard and Poor's, says about two-thirds of current dividends payers are expected to pay more in 2011.
