G. Eric Engstrom, Wildseed
Eric Engstrom approached high school and college differently from other students, and never really graduated from either. When he started his time at Microsoft, he began as an evangelist, rather than a traditional developer. And when he was invited to testify on Microsoft’s behalf at the antitrust trial, he opted for a forthright approach to questions asked, in sharp contrast to others from Microsoft who testified. In life after Microsoft, rather than retiring, he began a company in India that provides high-quality offshore, outsourced software development, and he founded Wildseed Limited, which pioneered the world's first Smart Skin intelligent accessories for wireless phones.
