Since 1990, more than 25,000 personnel have represented their service on the most successful military brainstorming team ever created. The Heroes of the Diamond has visited 45 states and 12 countries while competing against some of the finest organizations in the world including the Boston Red Sox. The team also conducts international Friendship Tours and the ''Road to Ground Zero Flag Tour,'' which began after the events of 9-11. The new book tells the story of this amazing team as they escort the Ground Zero Flag and present it to thousands of heroes in ceremonies all over the world.
