Lindberg Arrives In Paris (1927)
Lindberg lands at the Paris airport where thousands wait for him. After touchdown, Lindberg’s plane is mobbed by hysterical fans. It is all officials can do to usher the flier to the safety of the administration building. By making the first solo transatlantic flight, the youthful "Lone Eagle" had captured the imagination and the adulation of the word.
