今時今日，家長最捨得花錢讓子女補習的是英文，但不少人卻指出，現時香港人英語水平下降，學生喜歡使用港式英語Chinglish，約定俗成的港式英語，更成為新興潮流，網絡世界亦普遍使用。究竟香港人的英語水平是否真的下降了？ 內地的學生，已從以前中學才開始學英文，變成小學三年級便開始學習。廣州花都區的棠樹小學，如何設計課程給三年級的學生？校長對學生學習英語的態度有何看法？不少學生在課後參加由港人開辦的私人補習社，又是為了甚麼？ 記者：張慧敏
