Scrums Intergovernmental Affairs Minister Josée Verner and Bloc Québécois leader Gilles Duceppe reacted to today’s announcement that the Quebec government and Quebec City will share the costs of building the city's $400-million arena.  Industry Minister Tony Clement responded to questions about the proposed merger of the Toronto and London stock exchanges and on foreign investment rules. NDP Bill Siskay commented on his private member's bill to protect transgendered people from discrimination, which was passed by opposition parties yesterday in the House of Commons. NDP Health critic Megan Leslie outlined her concerns that the Senate was chosen to review the 2004 federal-provincial health accord.
