唐英年：社會已廣泛討論政改 盼本月23日立會表決
政府向立法會提交2012年政改兩項決議案，希望立法會在6月23日進行表決。 議案內容與政府在4月14日公布的一致，即是2012年立法會由60席增至70席，5個是地區直選，5個是功能組別議席；特首選舉方面，選委會由800人增至1200人，4大選舉界別各增100人，提名門檻是150人。 政務司司長唐英年表示，自從方案公布之後，政府經過廣泛諮詢，直接落區聽取民意，又與泛民主派人士溝通，今次方案，政府是經過深思熟慮提出，今次方案是政改啟航的重大契機，亦是政府在人大常委會決定的框架內，爭取到的最大民主空間，政制能否向前走一步，還是原地踏步，取決於議員的一票。 他又說，唯一可以讓步的，只可以在本地立法的層面處理。
