法隆寺
晴れ渡った秋空に抜けるような鐘の音が響くと、世界最古の木造建築が郷愁を帯びる。 「柿くへば 鐘が鳴るなり 法隆寺」 34歳で没した明治の俳人、正岡子規（１８６７～１９０２）が詠んだ法隆寺（奈良県斑鳩町）の鐘。修学旅行生らでにぎわう五重塔を見下ろす北西の高台から、今も１日５回、２時間おきに時を告げる。
