WikiLeaks Suing Visa and MasterCard over "Financial Blockade
Visa (NYSE:V) and MasterCard (NYSE:MA) are being sued by WikiLeaks and Datacell, a service provider assisting WikiLeaks, over allegedly running an "unlawful, U.S.-influenced financial blockade" after they suspended payment facilities for WikiLeaks. WikiLeaks claims the credit card giants are in "serious" breach of EU competition rules in blocking all credit card transactions to WikiLeaks and Datacell since December.Visa has a potential upside of 11.2% based on a current price of $87.97 and an average consensus analyst price target of $97.83.MasterCard is currently above its 50-day moving average (MA) of $277.80 and above its 200-day of $250.58. In the last five trading sessions, the 50-day MA has climbed 1% while the 200-day MA has risen 0.94%.
