خرج المئات من طلاب الجامعات في الجزائر، في تظاهرات مناهضة للنظام، ورفع الطلاب شعارات مثل "سئمنا من هذه السلطة" و"سلطة قاتلة" و"لا للقمع". وأدت المواجهات بين قوات الشرطة والطلاب المتظاهرين الأثنين إلى سقوط 20 جريحا على الأقل.
