Terrafugia’s Transition Flying Car Takes to the Air
Terrafugia’s Transition is a small aircraft that can fold up its wings, drive on the road, fuel up at a normal gas station, and park in a single car garage. As a car, the Transition can drive on roads at 65 miles per hour and achieve up to 30 miles per gallon. In the air, it cruises at 115 miles an hour with its 100 horsepower engine. The vehicle will be available in 2011 for $194,000.
