U.S. Factory Orders Rose 0.8% in May
Orders placed with U.S. factories rose 0.8 percent in May, less than forecast, after a revised 0.9 percent decline in April that was smaller than previously estimated, figures from the Commerce Department showed today.   Orders for capital goods excluding aircraft and military equipment, a measure of future business investment, rose 1.6 percent after a 0.4 percent decrease in April.
